Global finally plays in Cebu vs Ceres; Stallion, Kaya battle for survival

Global Cebu will finally get to play in the place the club calls home.

Cebu will play a PFL home game against fierce rival Negros at the Cebu City Sports Complex on Wednesday night.

After having to play home games at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in the first round as part of a ground-sharing agreement with Manila, Cebu will now play at its own turf in its first home game for the second round, an expected "dog fight" against Negros in the latest chapter of the "Visayas Clasico" at 7 p.m.

The winner of the match will move to third place and inch closer to first-placed Manila and second-placed Marikina in the race for the top two seeds come the playoffs.

Meanwhile, Makati looks to boost its playoff bid as the club takes on Laguna at the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan at 4 p.m.

A win can provisionally put Makati in fourth place and can end the day at the said spot if Negros loses at Cebu.

The top four teams after the regular season moves on to the semifinals.

Laguna, on the other hand, is still in the hunt for the elusive first win that can boost its flickering hopes of making the Final Four.
