'I will attend P-Noy's inauguration' -- James Yap

MANILA, June 28 (PNA) —- Cager James Yap on Monday assured his attendance in the inauguration of his brother-in-law President-elect Benigno Simeon "Noynoy" Aquino III on June 30 despite the reported "break-up" with his wife Kris Aquino-Yap.

James said in a television interview that although his marriage with President-elect Aquino's youngest sister, Kris, is in a state of "crisis," he will definitely attend the inauguration of his brother-in-law who is the 15th President of the Republic of the Philippines on June 30 at Quirino Grandstand in Manila.

Yap added, he will wear a "barong tagalog" during the inauguration of President-elect Noynoy.

He added he will respect the decision of his wife on the fate of their marriage.

Kris admitted on a national broadcast showbiz talk show, The Buzz, that she already made a decision regarding her marriage with the basketball star.

She added, she is finally breaking up with her husband and she did it for her son "Baby James" but did not elaborate on the reason of their break up. (PNA)
